We are Department of Pathology
Not at all! We are working for medical biology. Whoever people interested in Biology, Morphological and Functional aspects of Molecules are welcomed. Our final goal is to establish prevention and therapy of human diseases. By observing morphological changes and cellular responses caused by diseases and various stimuli, we analyze and seek for responsible changes of molecules behind.
In our laboratory students from various backgrounds such as Technology, Medicine, Dentistry and Biology, and even Literature are studying. A little before, foreign students from China, Egypt and Iran worked in our laboratory.
All of us are working for studies associated with human cancers. Among them using radiation as a study tool, we are analyzing how and why cells die and/or transform into cancer.
In our laboratory, there are many specialists good at diagnostic pathology, mice, in vitro cell culture, mathematical simulation and so on.
Our common goal is only one, to develop effective but gentle therapeutic modalities for cancer patients.
If you feel something interesting, please come to our laboratory. The door is open. We guarantee you get something!
