Located at 350 km northeast from Tokyo, Sendai is easily accessible by Tohoku Shinkansen (Tohoku Bullet Train) from Tokyo metropolitan in around 90 min.
The international airport is 20 km from the centre of the town, and it takes around 30-40 min by bus/taxi or JR train.
Conference venue
Sendai International Center is 2.5 km west of Sendai JR station via Aoba-dori Ave. From the Sendai JR station, the buses depart from the bus stop No.9 (take the bus marked #710, #715, #713, #719). It is 1 minute walk from the Bus stop 'Hakubutsukan - Kokusai Center Mae.'
